My mum is one of my greatest heroes. She looks after me no matter what and loves me with all her heart. She is always so supportive of me and encourages me to do the best I possibly can. My mother as a child lived with her mother (who died last year), her father, two brothers and someone else like an uncle or family friend. My poppa is my mom's father. He has gone through so much throughout his life yet still continues to stand strong. For that, he is a big inspiration to me. He was born in Mt Albert, Auckland and has lived in Auckland his whole life. His father is a Scotsman who played the accordian and his mother received a QSM.
